Elementary Area Administration
Pam Musick, MEd
Pamela Musick is the Elementary Area Administrator for Fort Wayne Community Schools, overseeing the District's 34 elementary schools. Ms. Musick began her career in education as a special education teacher in 1976 with the Fayette County School Corporation. She worked as a special education teacher and administrator in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Hawaii over the next 25 years. At the Hawaii Department of Education, she was a high school special education teacher and a State Educational Specialist for students with mild disabilities. In this capacity, she started the first Hawaii Inclusion Project in six schools. It increased to 13 schools the following year with 53 schools participating in the third year. In addition, Ms. Musick chaired a state preschool task force and developed a statewide preschool plan.
Ms. Musick also worked as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1991-93 and at Indiana University East from 1998-2000. Prior to joining FWCS, she spent 12 years working in the area of professional development supporting school districts across the nation in increasing student achievement.
Ms. Musick received her bachelor's degree from Kent State University and a master's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
